"After much research I went with PVPS to do a mommy makeover, something I never thought I would ever do. I struggled for years with low self esteem before and after kids and weight gain/loss. After finally losing weight after my kids I looked at my self and was tired of being depressed about my body. So I had the wonderful staff at PVPS put me back to the way I was and let me tell everyone, it was worth every penny just to look and feel comfortable in my own skin for the first time in my entire life. From the very first call I made to their staff down to my most current appointment I have had nothing but wonderful interactions and experiences with every single staff member. You can tell they care. Yes you are paying them but they are honest about everything and want the best for you! They are like cheerleaders for you. I wish I could remember all the names of the staff I have met but Dr. Mitchell did an outstanding job with my mommy makeover, Brittany Cherry is his coordinator and is such a sweetheart ,considerate of you, and very easy to talk to. Kristen Murphy is the nurse for Dr. Mitchell and is just as amazing and helpful. She answered my every question after my surgery with little downtime/wait. Dr. Mitchell took my call when I had an urgent question very near Christmas. They are all so calm and patient. They are truly wonderful people who want to help others. I thank each and every one of them for helping to give me love back to myself. Dr. Mitchell was so detail oriented with my procedure that I went in feeling prepared. If you are thinking about doing anything cosmetic please consider everyone here at PVPS, they never once pressured me and are up front about cost right after the consultation. The consultation fee was $100 but makes you a lifetime patient with them. Thank you PVPS staff/family!"
"I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Sternberg. Once we started talking I knew I made the right choice in picking him. He made me feel incredibly comfortable. Especially about things I’m self conscious about. I went into the consult with 3 surgeries in mind. He was honest about what he thought I needed and surgeries I did not need. . He was candid, explained both procedures, recovery time, what results would be. Lisa (his nurse) who I met for pre op and was with me the morning of my procedure was wonderful. Surgery day went smooth well! Everyone on the operating team was kind and answered any questions I had. Ultimately I went with abdominal/hip liposuction over a tummy tuck. I could not be happier and I’m only 4 weeks post op."

"Wow I really can’t say enough about the professionalism of this facility. I had pretty major work done FDL tummy tuck from losing 271 lbs. I did have a bleeding complication and they were right in top of it the whole staff there made me feel welcome and well taken care of. All the check up calls on Thanksgiving and check ins from the Surgeon we’re amazing. Again I strongly recommend Dr. Rumsey. So happy."

"First-time cosmetic surgery patient; first-time surgery/anesthesia patient Period! My Dr. & staff met me at my level of experience, ignorance, & education regarding the procedure. This journey began with a dreams convo with the hubby & evolved to the results I’ll share in pictures. After hubby’s homework, we choose Dr. Sternberg of Ponte Vedra Plastic Surgery. We completed an initial consultation, received quotes for several options we were considering, & made a decision within the next week or so. I’ll credit our decisiveness to Dr. Sternberg’s professionalism, expertise AND my husband’s due diligence with researching doctor’s credentials, years of experience, etc. Reviews were considered as well, but we had to consider that results are based on the individual. Any reviews we found for our doctor was nothing but positive. So, we decided on a mommy makeover-Abdominoplasty with Liposuction and Breast Augmentation/Lift with Liposuction Surgeries. After the consult, I had pre-operative appointment to sign my life away (lol)-mostly medical awareness, precautions, & pre-/post-op instructions.The only significant preparations I made were adjusting my work schedule & sending my toddler to my in-laws. My husband & other children picked up the slack during my downtime. This is important to keep in mind; while this is elective in nature, it is still a REAL medical procedure that will require some alterations to your normal schedule. I also purchased post-op meds, stocked on water/Gatorade, & altered diet items (broth, soup, applesauce, jello).I dressed in what I would need to wear home post-surgery-a front-zipped-down mumu, a long-sleeved front-button-down nightgown, oversized jogging pants, fuzzy socks (to keep on during surgery), comfy slippers, a scarf, & beanie (it was freezing the day of and after).My surgery took a total of 6 hours, but I probably wasn’t fully aware that it was over until about 1 hr 15min later. I was so cold & shivering because naturally the temperature is very low in the surgery room. I was also a little disoriented from the anesthesia-I began talking myself through what I slowly began remembering was happening. I was also talking my self out of what I thought was hearing from a nearby patient to be death-talk. Again, it was from the anesthesia-the more I became aware, the less disoriented I was. Because of the complexity of my surgery, I was an overnight stay but successfully discharged the next morning. The entire experience was very personal, seamless, and discreet. 5 weeks, 4 post-op visits later & I’m healing well and cleared to return to normal activities. My abs are still not 100% cleared (this is usually an 8-week healing process, per Dr.). Otherwise, I’m returning to as much normalcy with minimum aches and NO complications. I’d recommend Dr. Sternberg hands-down!"

After my first child I topped the scale at 186 lbs. and after I had my second child I vowed I’d work hard, clean up my diet and lose the weight. I obsessively worked myself down to 107 lbs but now comfortably at 130 lbs. I’m happy at my weight but my stomach and stretch marks make me feel self conscious, unattractive and overall ugly. I’m finally at a point in my life where I’m physically, mentally, and financially ready to take on a major surgery. I did my homework and interviewed many doctors before I found the one who I feel is the best fit for me. I’ve scheduled my mommy makeover (abdominoplasty w/muscle repair, mastopexy w/o implants, and lipo to the hips,) with Dr. Cayce Rumsey at Ponte Vedra Plastic Surgery. He made me feel comfortable, treated me like family and gave me his expert opinion. I went in considering adding implants but he advised against it because of my body’s natural shape and amount of tissue I already have; it just wouldn’t look right over time and I wouldn’t be happy. Which would possibly lead to another surgery down the road. I loved that he kept it real. All the other doctors I spoke with wanted me to do it and didn’t really care about anything I said in the room. Dr. Rumsey and his staff listened to me and I’m sure are going to give me the best treatment and outcome I could ever hope for. I also love the fact that no matter what, I can call and talk to either Beth or Melissa. They are there to answer all of my silly or in depth questions. I’m 4 weeks out from my post op appointment and I’ll update my journey as I go. Wish me luck!!Updated on 15 Apr 2019:My beautifully stretched out mom stomach now sits a little off center. I did my homework and interviewed many doctors before I found the one who I feel is the best fit for me. I’ve scheduled my mommy makeover (abdominoplasty w/muscle repair, mastopexy w/o implants, and lipo to the hips,) with Dr. Cayce Rumsey at Ponte Vedra Plastic Surgery. He made me feel comfortable, treated me like family and gave me his expert opinion. I went in considering adding implants but he advised against it because of my body’s natural shape and amount of tissue I already have; it just wouldn’t look right over time and I wouldn’t be happy. Which would possibly lead to another surgery down the road. I loved that he kept it real. All the other doctors I spoke with wanted me to do it and didn’t really care about anything I said in the room. Dr. Rumsey and his staff listened to me and I’m sure are going to give me the best treatment and outcome I could ever hope for. I also love the fact that no matter what, I can call and talk to either Beth or Melissa. They are there to answer all of my silly or in depth questions. "Lower body lift after weight loss - After losing 170 lbs I was really gifted at hiding all the skin. If you see my gastric sleeve review you’ll see what I mean. I wore compression work out clothes and compression garments under my street/work clothes everyday. Everyday. I was a size four with skin tucked away everywhere. I even looked ok in a “tankini”, but after working 4 years to lose and maintain my goal weight I wanted more. I wanted to not wear layers of clothes in hot humid summers in Florida. Imagine rushing to a bathroom in the heat peeling off CGs then trying to get them back up?? I most likely burned more calories in a day fighting my CG than I did running!! ????. So this was the next step in my journey. I want live a normal life. I started with a lower body lift or circumferential abdominoplasty. "Liposuction and unilateral labiaplasty. - I have decided to have liposuction of the abdomen, flanks, bra area, and outer thighs. I actually decided to add this procedure to my original decision to have a labiaplasty. One side of my inner labia has always been slightly larger than the other. This constantly bothers me and I have finally decided to do something about it. I also have a general dislike of my stomach. So I decided while I’m under for the labia plasty I might as well go ahead and have my problem areas taken care of as well. I decided to go with Dr Sternberg, as he did my breast implant exchange and lift. I love my breasts and trust he will do amazing with the rest of my body as well. I will update with before pictures soon.Updated on 26 Apr 2018:My surgery was on Monday April 23. So I am not sure if I am 3 or 4 days post op. Have had a few ups and downs. But overall I think it is going well. My friend came over and stayed with me the first night. So I had my husband here and my friend here 24/7 for about two days, Helping me with anything I needed. Lots of swelling, and bruising. But not the worst thing I have been through. I had a weird sensation in my leg and my Dr thought it may be a dvt forming, so I did go to the emergency room, and everything was fine. They believed the sensation in my leg was from the garment I have to wear. I am super swollen, but even with the swelling I can see a difference already. I cannot wait to see the final results. Attached are pics from the day before and then today. Updated on 1 May 2018:Went today for my 1 week post op appointment. Everything is going perfectly and Dr Sternberg said everything looks great. Still have some bruising and swelling as anticipated, but I am feeling better every day. My body shape is looking so perfect. My labiaplasty has come out amazing. I figured it would be somewhat symmetrical, but it is exactly the same. Amazing! Couldn’t be happier with his quality of work. He is an artist. And I would say no other plastic surgeon rivals him! "I initially chose Dr. Erez Sternberg for my breast reduction/lift and tummy tuck procedures because he is double certified in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery. But after my consultation with Dr. Sternberg and his staff, I knew my choice was absolutely correct. Not only did he offer advice on what procedures would help my issues, he also asked my opinion on what I wanted, how I wanted to look afterward. I knew my expectations were real, I knew I would never be a size 4 again. I just wanted to wear clothes that fit. He did not push additional procedures, only what I needed to solve my issues. My surgery was a pleasant surprise. No extensive pain and very manageable. I followed the staff suggestions, did nothing for 2 weeks and recovered much quicker than I thought.
