I was super nervous for the procedure, but this is something I had been considering since I was in middle school. Dr. Hancock & her team made the process super easy. From the insurance, to pre-op, meds, post op, day of surgery, and even having to get more sutures after for wound closure was all a great process. I was also nervous about the fact that I was african american coming to an office where I didnt see a lot of people who looked like me there. But, the office was super welcoming & professional. I also want to give a big shout out to Melissa and Lindsay for being some comforting and helping me get through this process. I am still about 3 weeks post op but so far, i love my results!"

"If you are looking for excellent skin care on Amelia Island I highly recommend a visit with Kylene Globis of Ponte Vedra Plastic Surgery at their newly renovated (it is stunning) location on First Coast Highway. Since my relocation to North Florida in 2021 Kylene has done an absolutely outstanding job of taking care of my skin with regular facials, treatments and product recommendations. She is absolutely everything I would hope to find in a skin care specialist. "First-time cosmetic surgery patient; first-time surgery/anesthesia patient Period! My Dr. & staff met me at my level of experience, ignorance, & education regarding the procedure. This journey began with a dreams convo with the hubby & evolved to the results I’ll share in pictures. After hubby’s homework, we choose Dr. Sternberg of Ponte Vedra Plastic Surgery. We completed an initial consultation, received quotes for several options we were considering, & made a decision within the next week or so. I’ll credit our decisiveness to Dr. Sternberg’s professionalism, expertise AND my husband’s due diligence with researching doctor’s credentials, years of experience, etc. Reviews were considered as well, but we had to consider that results are based on the individual. Any reviews we found for our doctor was nothing but positive. So, we decided on a mommy makeover-Abdominoplasty with Liposuction and Breast Augmentation/Lift with Liposuction Surgeries. After the consult, I had pre-operative appointment to sign my life away (lol)-mostly medical awareness, precautions, & pre-/post-op instructions.The only significant preparations I made were adjusting my work schedule & sending my toddler to my in-laws. My husband & other children picked up the slack during my downtime. This is important to keep in mind; while this is elective in nature, it is still a REAL medical procedure that will require some alterations to your normal schedule. I also purchased post-op meds, stocked on water/Gatorade, & altered diet items (broth, soup, applesauce, jello).I dressed in what I would need to wear home post-surgery-a front-zipped-down mumu, a long-sleeved front-button-down nightgown, oversized jogging pants, fuzzy socks (to keep on during surgery), comfy slippers, a scarf, & beanie (it was freezing the day of and after).My surgery took a total of 6 hours, but I probably wasn’t fully aware that it was over until about 1 hr 15min later. I was so cold & shivering because naturally the temperature is very low in the surgery room. I was also a little disoriented from the anesthesia-I began talking myself through what I slowly began remembering was happening. I was also talking my self out of what I thought was hearing from a nearby patient to be death-talk. Again, it was from the anesthesia-the more I became aware, the less disoriented I was. Because of the complexity of my surgery, I was an overnight stay but successfully discharged the next morning. The entire experience was very personal, seamless, and discreet. 5 weeks, 4 post-op visits later & I’m healing well and cleared to return to normal activities. My abs are still not 100% cleared (this is usually an 8-week healing process, per Dr.). Otherwise, I’m returning to as much normalcy with minimum aches and NO complications. I’d recommend Dr. Sternberg hands-down!"

"Lower body lift after weight loss - After losing 170 lbs I was really gifted at hiding all the skin. If you see my gastric sleeve review you’ll see what I mean. I wore compression work out clothes and compression garments under my street/work clothes everyday. Everyday. I was a size four with skin tucked away everywhere. I even looked ok in a “tankini”, but after working 4 years to lose and maintain my goal weight I wanted more. I wanted to not wear layers of clothes in hot humid summers in Florida. Imagine rushing to a bathroom in the heat peeling off CGs then trying to get them back up?? I most likely burned more calories in a day fighting my CG than I did running!! ????. So this was the next step in my journey. I want live a normal life. I started with a lower body lift or circumferential abdominoplasty. Lots of swelling, and bruising. But not the worst thing I have been through. I had a weird sensation in my leg and my Dr thought it may be a dvt forming, so I did go to the emergency room, and everything was fine. They believed the sensation in my leg was from the garment I have to wear. I am super swollen, but even with the swelling I can see a difference already. I cannot wait to see the final results. Attached are pics from the day before and then today. Updated on 1 May 2018:Went today for my 1 week post op appointment. Everything is going perfectly and Dr Sternberg said everything looks great. After 6 weeks, I feel great. Scarring is minimal, especially in the beast area. The pain in my shoulders is no more. My posture is much better and sleeping is a nightly treat. He was kind and thorough in explaining the process, and always readily available to answer additional questions. His nurse Carol has been a wonderful and caring resource that made the entire experience comfortable and personal. The surgery itself was a great experience (and surprisingly easy), anesthesia is MD only (as opposed to some other local venues). I was able to go home within an hour of completing surgery and never needed to use any of the prescribed pain medicines, only Acetaminophen. "Finally Got a Breast Augmentation at Age 33 - So I finally got a breast augmentation!!! I'm only 4 days post-op but so far I'm very happy with the results. I was a 36A before, I'm very very active, and very fit. So my concerns was how would these boobs interfere with my fitness life? And, will my new boobs close the gap I have between my boobs? (Pics below). During my consult I told the PS that I wanted to go as big as he thought was suitable for MY body frame. It's hard looking at pictures online and comparing because everyone has different measurements and outcomes are always different. So when I did look at pictures I googled girls my height ( 5'9), my body weight (140-145) and my body fat (18%). My PS was also able to show me before and after 3d images using an imaging software, Crisalix.My final decision was between 325-350cc which I ended up getting 325cc. I'm not sure what my final bra size will be because I'm still swollen and they have months to drop but I'll probably be a small C. I also decided to go with the gummy bear gel high profile implants (Keller Funnel brand) They feel very natural, won't ripple, and are 'supposed' to be lifelong. Recovery...Like I said, I'm only 4 days pre op but lemme say, the recovery is a lot more uncomfortable than I anticipated. I'm an athlete so I can handle pain and I'm also stubborn BUT, having objects placed in your chest is very uncomfortable. Rest!!! Relax!!! Take advantage of catching up on your favorite TV shows and use ice bags. One side WILL feel very different than the other. My right side is more tender and swollen. I'm also noticing more crepitus air) on the right which just feels funny.I'll post pre op pictures in a few days. Please feel free to ask any me any questions. The entire experience was fun and exciting. Just listen to yourself. Many people will try to tell you to 'go smaller', 'go bigger', 'dont get them'. My right breast is still pretty tender but I'm able to wear a sports bra. I can fit in my old one which was a medium but I'm super happy with how they look in a sports bra (finally! No more padding).Today is also my post op appt . Update coming soon.Updated on 27 Nov 2016:I'm LOVING the results of my BA. I still have slight discomfort on the side of my right breast. It's somewhat of a burning sensation. The incision on my right is also tender. I've been massaging the scar just because it feels good. Since my first post-op appt, I've been doing the breast exercises 4-5 times a day as instructed. My breasts are moving more which is nice. I love how soft they are!!!I've been wearing sports bra's since 1 week of sx. I'm still able to fit in mediums but still had to purchase new ones so I had more support. I'm able to drive, put my arms over my head and do light lifting. I tried doing a light job but the motion of my arms going back n forth didn't feel good so I'm going to hold off another week."

"Rhinoplasty Success - Ponte Vedra, FL - I had wanted rhinoplasty since I was a teenager. My nose had a large bump in it and I was very self conscious about it. "I am writing this article in praise of my Aesthetician, Chris Weber at PVPS. I recently had a small procedure done and was concerned about post surgery care and maintenance of my lid area of my eye which is very delicate. "We will be forever grateful to Dr. Snyder and his staff . . . - In January, 2009, I was diagnosed with breast cancer; after making the decision to have a bilateral mastectomy, I needed to find a plastic surgeon for the breast reconstruction phase of this journey. I was given three recommendations to plastic surgeons; after doing some research, I crossed my fingers and chose Dr. Brett Snyder of Ponte Vedra, FL. From the first appointment (where we had SO many questions)to present day (I'm almost done!), Dr. Snyder and his staff have been extremely patient and kind, generous with their time, understanding and supportive. The first couple of weeks after the mastectomy/tissue expander implant surgery were "rough" - not knowing whether the physical aches/pains I was experiencing were "normal" coupled with a desire to NOT depend upon the pain meds sent my already over-extended emotions out of control. I contacted Dr. Snyder's answering service over a weekend; he called back right away and assured me that what I was feeling was normal and that I really WAS okay. Another time, I panicked and convinced myself I was retaining fluid around the tissue expanders; Dr. Snyder's staff went out of their way to get me into the office immediately to be checked. Of course, there was nothing PHYSICALLY wrong with me and although I was really embarassed for making such a big deal out of nothing, Dr. Snyder assured me that he'd "rather be safe than sorry" and everyone was very understanding. In my experience, the tissue expansion was the most physically difficult part of my breast cancer experience. However, I didn't go through it alone - Dr. Snyder and his staff were with me every week, empathetic to the discomfort I was experiencing while continually encouraging me toward the end-goal that would help me to STOP feeling like a cancer patient, raise my self-image and begin to see myself as a whole woman again. We were told that my "support team" would be vital to my recovery - I was truly one of the "lucky ones" when Dr. Snyder and staff became part of that support team."
