What Happens During a DAXXIFY Treatment?
24 Hours Before You Have A DAXXIFY Treatment
Avoid taking blood-thinning medications or supplements such as aspirin or vitamin E. Blood-thinning medications or supplements can lead to bruising where the DAXXIFY is injected.
On the day you have your DAXXIFY treatment, avoid wearing any makeup. Come with a clean, fresh face.
The DAXXIFY Treatment Process
If your PVPS provider recommends DAXXIFY for you, this treatment can typically be achieved in a 15-minute appointment. This is an optimal procedure for those with an active lifestyle.
Your injector will begin by educating you on the treatment and product. Next, we'll complete a facial evaluation and customize a treatment specifically for your needs. Once your face is clean, your provider will inject DAXXIFY with a fine needle utilizing techniques that target the specific facial muscles that cause wrinkles.
When will I see results after DAXXIFY treatments?
Some patients start to see results within a few days following treatment. It will take up to 3 weeks to see full results. Your provider will see you at a 2-3 week follow-up to assure your treatment is optimal and to evaluate for any dose adjustments.
Who Is a Candidate for DAXXIFY Treatments?
DAXXIFY is an optimal treatment for patients looking for a longer-lasting treatment that addresses the wrinkles of the face while improving the overall appearance. DAXXIFY is commonly used in the frown lines, forehead, and crow's feet. Your PVPS provider can discuss other treatment possibilities with you at your appointment. The most optimal candidates for DAXXIFY should meet the following criteria:

- Have no history of neuromuscular disease

What Is the Recovery Process Like?
