"I have been to PVPS for various procedures and had the pleasure of working with Dr. Hickman and Dr. Sternberg. Both doctors were FANTASTIC! The results surpassed my expectations, and I have never felt so confident in my skin. Both doctors, their teams, and the entire PVPS staff are incredible. As someone who doesn’t typically handle surgeries well, they made sure I was at ease from the initial consultation through to the post-surgery period. One procedure required an overnight stay, and I didn’t want to leave the following day! The sweetest overnight nurses ensured I was always comfortable and in little to no pain. "I absolutely adore Dr. Hickman and the entire staff. Everyone is so compassionate and friendly. Everything was explained in detail, and they always insisted if I had any questions or concerns later, to please reach out. The day of the surgery, Dr. Hickman and the entire staff made me feel at ease… When beautiful Dr. Hickman came in just prior to surgery and prayed with me, I knew I was in great hands, and the anesthesiologist made sure I was prepped to avoid any nausea or vomiting after surgery (SUCCESSFULLY I might add) ….I had no anxiety, only excitement of the journey I have been wanting to take for 31 years! The precious nurse who took care of me overnight went over and above, and kept me comfortable throughout the entire evening. I am still in post-op mode, and they have been very accommodating when scheduling my appointments. At each appointment, everyone is so compassionate!! "For more than 25 years, I've been carrying around enormous breasts. I've wanted to have a breast reduction/lift surgery for so long but I was too afraid. Finally, one day I was over it ... or them, I should say. Because I had been using PVPS for my Botox, I decided to begin my search for the perfect surgeon there. I was told that Dr. Hickman was amazing with breast jobs, so I scheduled my consultation with her. While waiting for the time of the appointment to come, I researched several other doctors but kept going back to Dr. Hickman ... to find out later, for good reason. My consultation was in February, 2020 just before covid. We did get insurance approval (I was going from a 34G to a 34D) and my surgery was scheduled. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, it got pushed back three times. But finally, on the morning of May 15, I was on my way to the PVPS surgery center. I was too excited to be scared and Dr. Hickman definitely helped me with this. I KNEW my life was going to change that day and it DID! And just a few perks - Dr. Hickman doesn't use drains and my sutures were all internal so my incision lines were clean. I am 6 months post op now, my scars are barely visible, and my breasts look amazing! Now I can wear bathing suits without a bra under, I can wear sundresses without having to wear a harness underneath. I can jog!! Jog!!!! I could never do that before! My posture immediately improved and my confidence has never been higher. I want to encourage any woman who can relate to call Dr. Hickman. I will never forget her for changing my life."
